I can't remember the last house party I went to. It seems so long ago, going to peoples homes to celebrate a birthday with alcohol bought by our older brother or stolen from our parents. Meeting people I would never see again, barely remembering their faces. My first kiss, my first fuck and potentially my first love were discovered this way.It feels like they were better times, easier times but I know that I was miserable all through-out highschool and the years I attended university. It's strange how memories make the scars feel lighter and the pain much softer.
Anyway, I will see you all down at the bar.

I'm really drawn to this picture even though I can't relate to it at all. Never went to parties. I still lead a rather boring life and risk-free life. I love the look of the wide-eyed girl. Her expression is fantastic and really adds to the picture. Your drawing style is quite cool.

Life as we live it tends to forget the pain and taint things in a happy hue. We remember what was good about such things and then stray in our thoughts, and only after reliving the actual situation we remember what was crap and why we hated it oh so much.. though that also fades with time..
House parties brought fun and folly, but also the despair of realising that the girl you want, well she's with that guy you really hate...
I hated house parties, but I love your artwork.
