Description No daily mini today guys, sorry. If I said I was tired I would be doing a horrible injustice to the english language. On the other hand, I have started work on a special TWO piece set for tomorrow! Keep an eye out.

Finally, an elephant with spread out ears. We are now 3/4 done with the elephants, with only T'phon remaining before I really have to get down to business. Of the elephants so far, I like the texture on this one best, and the tusks are nice (although I am saved once again by the fact that even in nature elephant tusks are asymmetrical.) The face on this one has definitely improved, but I don't like the ear connections. They just don't jive. Oh well, back to work! (Hi-ho!)

WIP and larger galleries in the regular spot .

Discworld belongs to Terry Pratchett.

Wow, this is lovely! I just can't wait to see the finished thing all put together. Just the elephants themselves are so pretty-- I admire you for taking this on.

It's definitely been a project, no doubt. I've been sitting around lately wondering how in blazes I'm going to glue Atuin. I'm actually considering using a car for weight at this point...

Wait, how big are all these pieces??

The elephants stand about four inches to the shoulder and five inches from forehead to tail. I think from beak to bill A'tuin will be nearly three feet long, and the stand should bring the disc up to chest height, meaning the raised flippers will probably rise to about five feet? I dread to think how I'll ever move it

I agree, cool beans here. I might have missed this fact, but what did you use for the tusks?

The tusks are in tagua nut, and stay tuned; T'phon in my designs is planned with the largest set of tusks of the lot.
