Personality: Haüyne is calm, but rather dark at times. This is due to his past as a scientist on homeworld, where allowing sympathy was pretty much forbidden. Lemon is the only gem able to bring out his good side. He is known for having anger issues over the tiniest things, and Lemon helps him deal with it. He's impatient, but when he acts he can use his manipulative personality to get himself out of a tight situation.

Additional Info: Haüyne is a very rare gem, and one of very few of his own gem kind. He was a top scientist on Homeworld, long before the gem rebellion, and head of his own research. His best known work is known as "The Sulfur Project", an attempt to turn other gems into sulfur gems, as they are extremely hard gems to make into viable soldiers. Natural Sulfurs make excellent guards, fabled to be better than that of Ruby Guards. They are small, but fast. They seemingly act on instinct and are very loyal when trust is earned. To make up for this shortage, Haüyne took on the task of making special augmentations and making sulfide inclusions into viable gems to great Artificial Sulfurs. Lemon Quartz is Patient Zero. Haüyne's numbness to others comes from years of research, and personal discarding of his failed experiments. Sulfide inclusions, if all went well, would create a Pseudo-Sulfur, as it became apparent in time that making full-on Sulfurs wasn't an option. Victims that couldn't handle the treatment became corrupted, losing all of their senses and personality. They would become acidic monsters with a lust for shattered gem. Haüyne never let a single monster escape, and would easily destabilize and crush the life source of the beasts.
