Personality: Malachite is extremely insecure of himself and doubtful of his own abilities, despite his capabilities. He puts on a mask of seeming all tough, when in fact he is constantly worried if his choices were smart or not.

Additional Info: Malachite's used to be a member of the Crystal Gems. He betrayed them and joined the Yellow Diamond army after the second Gem War to avoid being scrapped and used in gem experiments like the Fragment-Fusions. He worked as a double agent, and he'd known many things while working in the military, and more than his teammates could've ever known. He also had valuable info on the Diamond Authorities, which allowed him to stay alive when he turned his back on the Crystal Gems. He told nobody of his plans to stay alive in order to keep the info safe. In turn, he was branded a coward and a traitor. He now seeks to return to Earth, hoping to find someone from the Crystal Gems he can talk to and help stop the projects that are ruining worlds and gems' lives. He's rejoined the rebellion now, and happy to be back with his love.
