Description
My artwork for Zygarde, the Dragon/Ground-Type "Z" Legendary known as the Order Pokémon from Pokémon X and Y. As soon as it was leaked last night I started drawing it. Had this art finished at 3 a.m. last night but could't get back online to upload it. Based on the images I saw, it seems some of the hexagon-shaped "scale" parts glow or sporadically blink white, so I reflected that in the artwork here. I'm kinda pleased with how this turned out.

Zygarde's power has been calculated to be on par with Kyurem's, which means it's slightly worse than the version mascots. The fact that it doesn't resemble a Z in its standard pose is the same case with Xerneas, who doesn't resemble an X unless it spreads its front legs outwards. It also does have a connection with the other two: Yveltal is the Destruction Pokémon while Xerneas is the Life Pokémon, Zygarde is as stated in this picture's description the Order Pokémon, keeping balance between the two. If you've noticed the legendary trio also have the colors red, blue and green.
Furthermore, it was leaked by the guy from SA who has leaked every other thing in this game, so it's just as legit as Delphox, Chesnaught, Greninja and the rest of 6th Gen. There's no denying that it's real, there's too much proof. And boy am I glad, I like this much more than Yveltal and Xerneas, and this artwork is fantastic.

Yes sir. Smallest generation yet. I personally don't mind it since the game add so many other new and great things, like Mega Evolutions and an all 3D game. I understand why one would be dissapointed about it though.

im kind of dissapointed in the small limit of the water types really.. because i wanted to use Clauncher but its an X exclusive and part of me wants to use Binacle while another wants to use the Squirtle from Proffessor Sycamore. its just really tough for me. i also havnt decided on my 6th party member yet either.

The trait shared between the three is that they are based off of animals from Norse Mythology that inhabited the three planes.

I can kind of imagine what Zygarde might be based off of, but what about Xerneas and Yveltal?

Xerneas is the fusion of four stags with bejeweled antlers from Midgard, and Yveltal is based off of an eagle from Asgard that is blind but can see into a person's soul.

I relation to Dna, there isn't a z-chromosome, but the hexagons resemble cyclohexanes that are used to make up a lot of important proteins in the body like estrogen and testosterone.

Ehh... terrible typing. You could easily Ice Beam/Ice Punch it, but... it does look epic nonetheless. Slightly more epic than Rayquaza, whom they share the x4 weakness to... and of course! More Dragon Legendary Pokemon! And honestly, I'm Dragoned out when it comes to Legendary Pokemon... thanks to the new Fairy-Type.
In short, this is great, but I highly doubt I'll make great use of it.

Read the legend of Yggdrasil. Zygarde is the snake/dragon that gnaws on the roots of the tree in the legend.

Agh! So many spoilers... I was trying to avoid them... Oh well. I'm getting through by telling myself that they aren't official so could all be fake! It's kinda working, and i'm forcing myself to forget the awesomeness I have laid eyes upon.

I don't get it - why are there so many people trying to avoid spoilers yet they still go to places spoilers are bound to exist? Months ago I had to make the choice to either stay away from fansites and places like deviantART or keep visiting those sites because I knew that if I didn't want to be spoiled I absolutely had to stay off of those sites. Clearly I made the choice to continue going, and seeing the leaks is the price paid for doing so.
It's just hard for me to sympathize with people worried about spoilers but still going to sites like this.

I know. I don't really care that much, and I would never blame people like you! I don't agree with people posting leaks in the first place (the companies trusted them with an early copy and they went against them), but once they're out, they're out. I have no problem with people repeating what they have seen in any way they want to (and I love your art!).
I don't expect any sympathy from you or anyone else, I just thought Zygarde was one of your awesome fakemon until I read the description. Came as a bit of a shock, is all. Your art is amazing and it is increasing my hype massively! Plus it's made me consider more than just Fennekin for my starter, after seeing Greninja. I just didn't expect Zygarde to be the Z legendary ^_^'

Was stuck in Uber permanently in the 4th Generation, and by 5th Gen they had to ban using San Veil with him because 1/5 of moves missed in Sandstorm! Feared Icicle Spear, Ice Shard, and the rogue Draco Meteors and Ice Beams... That was it! Everything else it countered with Substitute and Yache berry. Easily.

Just a tip: If you're trying to avoid seeing leaks, not going on sites where people upload Pokémon-related images or discuss Pokémon-related things is a goooood idea.
