Description
I'm a fan of both Spore and Mass Effect, so... a spoof of both games was inevitable.Tali, Shepard and Jack doing a stroll on Aurum Terra, a backwash planet somewhere in the Galaxy. There they met the local sentient race which opened diplomacy by giving them a pet. Fun times.
Informations from a Geek:::
-Charles Darwin in the background is a featured user-created creature available for download in your own galaxy. the creator is known as "Svndl".
--The orange gremlin is the featured intergalactic villain also known as the Grox. They are found in the center of the galaxy. Kinda like the Collectors. Except they are tyrants, not servants for a bigger species.
---The ant to the left is called a Formunt. My main creation in Spore.
-And now, just because I'm such a huge attention whore, I want you to check on these! -and leave a comment, don't be shy! xpator.deviantart.com/art/Pape… xpator.deviantart.com/art/Azur…
**edit: I somehow mixed up the words Universe and Galaxy as I wrote this thing. Carl Sagan would be ashamed of me. It's fixed now, so people can stfu about it! (jk)

Sadly, the grox is 'too toxic for the cargo hold'...

Mass Effect 3 is coming soon, I might end up doing more stuff like that XD
I wonder what game would deserve a crossover with Mass Effect 3 though... Got a long time to think in front of me -since I don't have the budget currently to preorder ME3 on PC... or the PC to handle it, depends on how you look at things.

Try Call of Duty or Spore again...I mean mass effect has aliens might aswell be more... Or call of duty coz if soap meets shephard he might insult soap for his name, and soap tries to kill him but his kenectic bariers are tough as chuck norris, and maybe EDI can say Chuck norris barriers at 100%...And if that doesn't work...Try the game everything mixes...Aliens vs Predator (Sorry for annoying you if what)

I'm just no fan of CoD, to be honest. I prefer sci-fi types of FPS's, and over the top ones too. CoD and other games of the genre just aren't my type.
I do have Alien vs Predator, I'm yet to finish the first level (got pulled by other, more captivating games lately). I'll figure something out. Preferably, something wayyy out of Mass Effect's type of seriousness.
anyhow, thanks for the comments and your suggestions, I really appreciate it!

lol I love those two games too. Somehow, when I played Mass Effect, I couldn't stop making comparisons to Spore. Not about the gameplay, but just about the universe. I still -almost- wish Shepard would come across a Formunt (my own race of sentient ants), or that my galactic ship in Spore would bump the Normandy. Some funny things like that.
Well at times I just feel like being completely immature, and horrors like this are spawned in the madness. XD
-Thank you for peeking at this pic and leaving a comment, I really appreciate it.

well i do believe that some people have made the Normandy ship in spore so its only a matter of finding it and downloading it from the search and i believe once you've done that there's a chance it will show up in your game. if you don't want to wait for a random encounter with a race that might or might not have it in their space stage just use it as your ship and advance a race while you're using it, once they get to the space stage they'll be using the ship you used during that time.
well bad things happen when i start doing immature and random things in my galaxy >.>; i've ended up starting wars with an empire because of it.... i mean really? how was i suppose to know they would get mad at me for abducting a few of their people and trying to give them a bath in a ocean?

Though I would find funny to cross path with the actual Normandy in Spore, I must say I'm not fond of fanbased stuff in the game... most likely because it's most often ugly as all hell, badly executed, and -as I saw with the Quarians- most likely to be utterly perverted. I've seen a fanbased creature of Tali'Zorah with breasts so big that even Pamela Anderseon would be jealous of... And it's in Spore, which means it's even more ugly! ._.
I don't do that much random stuff in my galaxy, except maybe steal artifacts to other empires when I feel like it, then sell it to them, or burn an entire forest just to kill one diseased creature... It's obviously nothing compared to what you can usually find in Spore Galactic Adventures... By God people can be stupid.

yeah but i haven't seen much of that stuff lately the only disturbing thing i've seen from other users was an epic that had a tail that extended under its body that shot poison it wouldn't have been bad if it weren't for the fact that every time it shot poison at me it bent backwards a little and stayed near my nest so it kept hunting me every time i took control of my creature
yeah i know what you mean... i once found a mission where you had to give up in order to complete it. its like "lets see how fast you can complete this task.. oh good your done well you didn't need to do this, all you had to do was quit the mission to win"

Well, once, I got eaten by Charles Darwin the Ogre... It's the most ironic piece of random events that I ever saw in my gaming life. And I wished to see the guy as a species to interact with... I interacted with it alright: with its stomach...
Not sure if it was his mouth or his beard that ate my Formunt yet.
They tried something with Galactic Adventures... It could have been great, if only they made sure they had the fanbase to make it worthwhile... And I think the dev-team behind most of Maxis' original missions didn't quite get the concept of the expansion. After getting to the center of the Universe and kicking some Grox' arses for a few months, my Formunt captain ended up helping some ugly Romeo & Juliette ripoff to get along and prevent a family war... and also ended up reuniting the most disturbing alien band for a festival. I know it's a kid's game, but we're talking about a player who'se early childhood was filled with sidescrolling shooters filled with living gut pouring through the ceiling and floor, floating brains, and Metroid, not talking about the creepy stuff you could find on both NES and SNES. No kid needs Fisher-Price level of retardation in their videogames. Most kids who get the basics of Spore would have at least 7+ years old, already an age to crave for gaming action.
So... yeah. Making an expansion that's all about inserting squad-based missions in the Universe, and giving all the work to the players, that was friggin lame. They can boast about "DarkSpore" all they want, I've seen their worst. It's a stain that's gonna stay on Maxis and EA for a loooooooooooooooooong time.

Good to know you noticed where I got the nickname.
Indeed, the Grox was ALWAYS annoying. They take too much space in the Universe, and they always manage to attack the same galaxy over and over again, till it's annihilated... kinda takes a while when you equip your colonies with a super turret.
Mass Effect joins Mister T in BadAss-ness!
