Description
I'm a fan of both Spore and Mass Effect, so... a spoof of both games was inevitable.Tali, Shepard and Jack doing a stroll on Aurum Terra, a backwash planet somewhere in the Galaxy. There they met the local sentient race which opened diplomacy by giving them a pet. Fun times.
Informations from a Geek:::
-Charles Darwin in the background is a featured user-created creature available for download in your own galaxy. the creator is known as "Svndl".
--The orange gremlin is the featured intergalactic villain also known as the Grox. They are found in the center of the galaxy. Kinda like the Collectors. Except they are tyrants, not servants for a bigger species.
---The ant to the left is called a Formunt. My main creation in Spore.

The Grox I think, resemble the Volus. The Volus might be the Grox's peaceful progeny?

If you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense.
The Grox were endangered of becoming Extinct, so they made a pact with the peaceful creatures of the galaxy. Signing the Treaty then allowed the Quarians to reprogram them, so they would not be as vicious. When they studied them, they learned quite a lot about androids, and synthetics. Using that knowledge they created the GETH. But the Geth's databases were easily bypassed. So the Reapers were able to reprogram the Geth and Exile the Quarians to the Migrant Fleet where they've been ever since.

And the Grox would have regressed down to the Volus after all these years. Kinda sad really. When I think I spent hours breaking their home planets with ozone and atmosphere.

EDIT: The Grox were servants of the Reapers and when they were reprogrammed, they were disgraced in the Reapers' Eyes. So they then changed their species name into "VOLUS", Which is Turian Dialect for "Repentful" meaning they wish to make amends for their wrongdoings.
