Around six hours later, I finished this 8DYes, this is Firestar, halfway through I decided my fursona wouldn't work too well in this scene, so I decided to do Firestar instead. (lolol because I messed up the lineart--)
Anyway, don't you like the amazing leaf branches which the lineart sucks on?
Yeah, me too.I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ON THIS but it's the first big picture I've done in awhile so I'm happy. And yes, I did go overboard with the lighting.
also wanted to draw something calm and relaxing because I've been a bit anxious myself

The colors are warm and refreshing, and the picture is simple but pleasant and amazingl textured. Great work!

I think the lighting/coloring is cool, but Firestar looks a little strange. He seems too long, like the perspective isn't right. Tip on the leaves: Try to make them smaller, and in larger numbers.
But other than that, I'm glad you're able to draw again. :3

Thanks! And yeah, I couldn't get his head in quite the right angle/for the perspective.
And orz, I am not doing leaves like this again for awhile. xD; It was really hard just to get these done the way they were, and they still look really awkward.
