Some images are crystal clear inside my head. Its like they are hammering my skull from the inside asking to let them out. This here was one of this cases. The moment i grabbed my pencils there was no turning back. I am happy with the end result, also happy that the hammering is over!

On Canson Mi Teintes 160grm/m2 Hue; Limoncello

George, if you take a close good look at my gallery, everything you see there is me. Literally.
Even the way i chose to change my refs, i do it because i sneak in there little parts of me.
I dont understand the nature of your question regarding the knife...how can i use a knife with color pencils? You mean how i sharpen my pencils? Or if i scratch my drawing with a knife?

Well, i can tell you in all honesty if i was sitting next to you, you would absolutely forget the gas mask, even when i was smoking
I too think you are crazy and i love it!
Okay if i understand here, you are referring to the highlights, the tiny white details, i cant do those with color pencils sweetheart, you are not the first to ask me how i do them, i use two markers, both permanent, Edding 780 0.8 mm white and C.Kreul extrafine 0.8mm white, so when i am done with my drawing i add the last highlights with the markers, this is the final touch and its really a tiny touch but you see how important it is? It makes the whole drawing pop out from the paper.
Okay i hope i wont forget to mention this in the tutorial...

Thank you No I most definitely would not wear a gas mask while sitting next to you and watching you smoke My Edding 780 started leaking, I thing I was a bit rough with it , annoying. Makes me mad!

my edding markers unfortunately have a short life span too, its ok though, since i realized this was gonna be the case i keep here half a dozen sealed.
Dont be rough with your media please, try to be gentle, imagine you are touching instead of markers and maybe that will do the trick for you!

no you wont get much drawing done, you need to use the proper 'head' to think and do art, the bottom one wont help you much with it, understand?

yes, you can actually see it!
It is abstract in a way, this is why i liked the concept of the smoke, i dont dare to do abstract anyway but here, this part had to be done in this way exactly! And the realistic part which is actually the face, well my dear you know me by now, i need my strong colors and my countless details to feel happy and safe!
