On smooth watercolor paper

i am very happy with mine i must admit.I didnt expect it actually but they are so soft cored buttered really great for blending and such a wonderful pallet.
you should have a go with them...maybe?

no i dont use a grid.When i am not able to draw freehanded i am sketching with cinnabar,this is what we do in byzantine art,i always loved this way, find it convenient and i am never mistaken with proportions this way so i use it in my art in general.
