i can see many flaws sweetheart... I didnt get to do a decent work in the background,it seems unfinished compared to the portrait itself,and the butterfly is way too vibrant,almost distracting for the main subject. Also shading on the left cheek didnt work right,i can still see the white pencil there,and it should be blended in thinner layers.
i can go on with this,instead i ll stop and just thank you for your kind comment!

Ofc you did,you love to dig deep.By the time i reached the background i was boring to do a decent work.
let alone the fact i decided to add the butterfly,literally the last minute,and its overpainted on these blues and greens..
actually i was intrigued at this little trouble's expression, you know the sneaky face and the wide eyes,it was an interesting process to see how would this turn out.
I should hold my brushes i think and do some serious work and stop the slacking lol
Btw i progressed the other one,the watercolor flowers,i ll try to make a decent photo and send you a link

Oh yeah I did for sure. I can imagine that a bland background wouldn't work for you at all. I really admire the fact that you can add such interesting touches to a work as you need them. I apologize if I have sent this to you already, but I came across a photo and I literately thought you would kill it if you chose to work from it. For some reason I woke up at night and happen to read this. As I was falling back asleep the image of your work with her in it came into my head. I kind of wonder if my seeing that for you was subconscious in some way.
I agree that quality rules quantity, but you are capable of both and that's pretty amazing.
Coffee and a smoke, sounds like proper stimulation I suppose. Your cooking sounds yummy, I wish I could be there for that. Wait till you see the picture I have for you today.

Do you remember the pic of your girls? When you said they have (all 3 of them) the exact eye color and that's spooky?
Now what does this remind you of?
I have already started with Natalia,she is progressing very well,i am changing everything over her,starting with the hues and the colors to the shadings.She will turn out amazing!
Make sure you get a proper rest,understand? if you feel weak its pointless to push yourself,i wont allow it.In fact i allow it only to myself lol 
And forget the hamburgers now,maybe a chicken soup would be more fitting...

I do remember that and this is a very similar situation indeed!
When I saw that photo all I could think about was how great a fit that would be with your style. I never even looked at Natalia photos for more then a quick second. I can see in my mind how this might look under your creative care. 
I did try to rest over the weekend, I still feel the cold a bit, and having to head out in that weather today was no picnic but I will get some rest tonight as well. I would still like the hamburgers, but maybe with chicken soup (I make a great chicken soup myself by the way).
