Seems like that almost transparent bird is really a spirit arriving with a message. Perhaps he's her dead lover whom she mourns

This scene makes me think her cure comes in form of the dove - but she fails to see it, convinced that her cure will come the other way, or is altogether unattainable. I like dark and moody manips like this :]
