This one felt rushed... but I can hardly justify that since it's taken me longer then all the other pages so far. The flow has taken a step backwards I fear, so I'll add a breakdown if necessary.
A lot darker then the previous pages, it's mysteriously stopped snowing and things are getting serious; although my Pokemons are still foolishly trying to kill Malli with explosions... I swear didn't mean for it to become a recurring theme this round, but it has. Big thanks goes to ~finni for the epic "fa-toomsshh!!" sound effect.
Backgrounds suck as usual, hence the somewhat empty feeling which echoes around the edges of every panel, my sincerest apologies for that.

Is the, "What the hell kind of Fire Spin is that?!" line by any chance based off of my comment on your spectacularly explode-ey HP [Nuke] on the previous page?
The fire effects are amazing, gladiator Lopunny is epic, and you really don't need to pay much attention to the background when there's so much epic pwnage happening. Well done!

haha while not directly based off your comment, it was more of a reflection of the combined "wtf kind of hidden Power was that" I got from everyone. I didn't originally have it scripted and jut chucked it in there at the last minute. I hadn't realized the comment was like... identical to it though, so theres bound to have been some sort of subconscious thing go on there

I've never gotten either of them, the Lopunny line was never one that went out and grabbed my attention; but they are lovely and easy to draw <3.
I'm glad you like that back shot of Spinarak, I ended up reworking that scene a couple of times so it's good to know it came out well in the end!

I'm not fond of it either, although it's begun to grow on me due to just how easy she is to draw (especially compared to something like Mawile who has 10,000 little details which take forever to ink), but yeah, she will take a nasty fall inthe next page which I'm sure you'll enjoy! ~

Great choreography and fight scenes. Poor spinarak though, getting hit by firespin is one thing, but one looking that is a smite overkill.

Thanks; haha but the overkill firesnake? It was somewhat painful doing it to my own character, but felt I needed Flareon to do something big to counterbalance and justify it going down so easily; it really did need to go overkill in order for it to piss Beedrill off to the point of attacking with that level of ferocity.
I'm not sure if that makes all that much sense but in my mind that's how I justified it

Question though, if Kylie's Pokémon have nicknames, why does she also keepi calling them Spinarak and Beedrill?
And... Does Kylie look scared, even concerned for her Pokémon? It can't be!

The nickname thing just alternates a little bit, she'll call them whatever is most convenient; whether it be for just to avoid repeating the same name, or just so that people unfamiliar with the characters have some idea of what's going on every once in a while. I'm not sure, the nicknames are something I never really settled with so they tend to change around a bit
haha I know right! Your out-of-character Kylie must have snuck out of your page and broken into mine! Though I suppose even heartless murderers get a little frightened when their best friend gets swallowed up by the freakishly random snakes made of fireee xD!
