Well well. It shouldn't sparkle as twilight, but somehow it sparkles more.

The underground, where dragons dwell.
Some dragons prefer slightly colder caves, some prefer slightly warmer caves. But rare dragons chose a cave with huge lava lake in it.
Although none - neither dragon nor man - can hope to bath in it harmlessly, it provides pretty good protection from intruders. As dragons usually manage to pile vast amounts of gold in their corners, some men are eager to get the gold. And a head of a dragon as well. But in that cave, dragon is not the only creature that dwells there. There are also fairy-like beings that can turn man to stone with the slightest touch. Therefore, not many men had come close enough dragon would need to react.

I tried something new here: usually I start drawing/painting by making a sketch, then I paint under sketch and then, when I add rough details, I hide the sketch layer, and then continue.
At this one, I didn't remove the sketch.
Also, I usually use a lot of layers. This time, there were 3 -of those I was using upper 2 layers. Background layer didn't really had any function, it was dark grey and it stayed as it was. Then it was layer with color and "fine detail". On the top, there was layer with rough detail/outline. It also didn't change too much during the process. Where rough detail was disturbing fine detail, I erased that part of the layer.

Also, this is my 300th deviation.
And don't be tempted to browse all way back; after 250th deviation it doesn't pay off.
