"With great companion nonetheless," *shoots Piers a fond look* "how...err...how long have we been together?"
"Ha, I stopped counting after the hundredth day," *chuckles* "Hey, do you want to go to that steak place when we're home tonight? Or we can order pizza, I just need some real food after one week of protein bars. What do you think?"
"I think" *looks Piers in the eyes* "...that we should get married."
*stares at Chris for a moment* "Did you seriously just changed the subject from dinner to a proposal?"
"Umm, I suppose so," *scratches his head* "I know this might not be the best time...I've been wanting to ask you for a while now and I just can't seem to find a right time and place." *clears his throat* "Anyway, Piers Nivans, will you do me the honor of becoming my husband and I'll buy you steak dinner for the rest of our lives."
*can't help but bursting into laughter* "Chris Redfield, first of all, this is THE worst time you can pick, you're lucky I'm too tired to argue now. Do you even have a ring?"
"Errr..." *looks at Piers, mortified*
*smiles* "Fortunately," *takes out a small red velvet box from his armor jacket* "as it happens, I've got one right here."
"I don't believe this," *laughs in relief* "you've been planning this too?"
"I planned," *mocks Chris* "I think you just winged it."
"At least we're on the same page now." *looks around the ruins* "And we've got...quite an accented view here."
"If that accent is the roar of helicopters, then yeah." *leans his forehead against Chris'* "Just promise me our wedding won't be in a place like this."
"Scout's honor."

Ok, since US finally legalized same-sex marriage, I can't be holding this meme anymore(never wanted to, just were figuring out how lol). Hopefully I'll try to finish their wedding as well this year or early next year. It won't be a easy job so I need time to plan and work, just like a real wedding but they will eventually that's for sure. :3
Ahem, I didn't mean to disappoint you guys cause I know this might be not something that you were expecting for this meme title. No rose, no go down on one knee or fancy romantic dinner(at least we got the ring thanks for Piers xD). But this is our decision after a well concern, that we both think it's a unique way which actually fits their characters. And it also will be unforgettable from their life right?
