It's been a long time since I painted something!I passed all my uni exams and now a month of my summer vacation already went by!
I started watching Merlin and am completely obsessed by the show. (I haven't watched everything yet so no spoilers please
)I thought I'd give this realistic portrait thing another go and I think it came out pretty good. I've definitely improved speed-wise. But because I did it so fast there might be a lot of imperfections. If anyone has suggestions on things to improve, please do tell
.The images in the stained-glass border in the background are actually scenes from a 13th century manuscript with the legends of Merlin and Arthur and the knights of the round table. I thought it was a nice quirky twist

Software: Corel Painter X.
Time used: About 5 hours.

You're very welcome, it looks great! Hair is one of the most difficult things to do if you want it to look realistic (in my opinion) but you did an amazing job, you can be very proud of yourself! ; )
