Anyone who has read my journal here Help a Wolfdog Get a Service DogYes, you read that right. I've been debating back and forth about whether or not I should go public with this, but I feel like it's the right time. Those who have been following me for awhile will know I've been struggling with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, and my mom and I have finally come to terms with the fact that a psychiatric service dog is the best thing for me. Trust me, I've done tons of research and a lot of soul searching, and will be very responsible with the steps I take. I'm so ready to have a life, to have independence, and this animal will be a big part in helping me achieve that. I plan to train the dog myself with some assistance from outside trainers, as not only do I not have the money to get one from a service dog school, but I also just feel it's the best course of action for my situation.
With all that said, I need to raise some funds for this. There's the cost of the dog itself, the training, the vet care, and the supplies. Pretty substantial. will know I'm currently trying to acquire funds to pay for the upfront cost and future care and training a psychiatric service dog. To aid me in this quest I've finally opened my Etsy store www.etsy.com/shop/CanisVexusSt… where I offer pinback buttons for sale. But as an extra something special to help raise money, I've decided to sell some WoF-themed buttons outside of Etsy.

These are all 1.25" pinback buttons made using the naturally shed skin of my pet ball python (ironically named Qibli) with a printed paper backing to give it color. This is all sealed together with clear plastic mylar, so the final product is smooth and shiny. So basically: printed image, then snake shed, and then clear plastic. Each button is meant to mimic a certain tribe's scale color and pattern, and there are ten all together. Keep in mind that the exact shade may vary slightly depending on the color and brightness of your monitor.

If you're interested in getting a button that's already sold, I can make a copy, but keep in mind that using real snake shed means no two will be exactly alike.

There's no limit on how many you can buy.
If you purchase a button, you also agree to pay shipping costs, which can vary depending on where you live, so please research and take that into account. A typically US buyer would pay $3 for shipping.
Shipping can be combined if you buy more than one button.
