Description This was a quick Oekaki piece on Teamartail.

I think I have been neglecting Shadow. Granted I did a Team dark and the Xmas pic but I wanted vicious Shadow back

Kind of like a present for the Shadow fans out there.

Sidenote: Sorry for not commenting lately again people. This was like naffy break for me. I am back at Uni and the work is harder than EVER!!! The good news is that I passed my xmas exam.

Will try and get my act together.

Pfft! Yeah right. I'll *try*

I don't like needles from the dentist. I'm not afraid of them, I just don't like having a needle in my gum. It frigging hurts and makes me temporaily go deaf in one ear. I had to have 7 fillings and I have to go back on the 18th.

I do biology, so I think I only know the basics of teeth anatomy. Like the dentine and cement.

I wish more luck on them!

I can't go anywhere apart from, watch telly, play on the net, play SA2B or stare mindlessly into space or I could get out of my gymjams and put on my ordinary clothes. Got as far as Biolizard. He's also my worse boss to fight against, Final Hazard is easier.
Now Shadow is going in the wrong direction. And Bio eats 'em.

I must of been something that was nocturnal.

Grr... Mum wants me off the net.

That emerald rawks, glad you chose to make him have a red one, cause it really matches with him. Awesome shine on it too and the light coming from it. I love his expression and how he is positioned. But I really love all those red and black lighted swirls..^_^

I appreciate it . I'm also glad you approve of the red Emerald. For some reason I just see Shadow better suited to it than the green one. Duh... I guess maybe its because I think, red and black... red!

Fantastic work as typical, Bent. Although the lines have a rougher edge, I feel that it complements the piece even more. The pose itself is fantastic and your colouring is at its usual very high standard. Your oekaki skills are very good.

I take it this scene is set just before the actual Chaos Control warp, compared to your Wraith pic which is in mid warp? Nifty contrast.

Oh, and I’m extremely pleased to hear you passed your Xmas exam. Good work.

I used the Oekaki BBS so that's about the best lineart you can get. Paint has a better lineart feature on the online board but there are only two layers and I need about.... 12 to work with or something. Heck, in PS7 I work with something like 20-40 layers on average. It's ridiculous but better safe than sorry. The bad news is that the files come out to 45MB per picture before merged.

I did actually take the picture to PS7 and have finished lineart I usually have. But I don't know if I can be bothered to colour it. Besides, everyone has seen this and I don't want to bore people. Maybe I'll just keep it for some other occassion.

Erm... I didn't put much thought into this picture at all. I guess it could be an initial Chaos control thing. This wasn't the intention of the bigger piece work though. When I have time I'll do something with this. I'm sure it won't get too boring too quickly. I pictured the CC concept as a whole new dimension anyway. Urp... it is. Time is a dimension o.o

Bent, I have to complement you on your fantastic okekai work, as this is absolutely fantastic. The proportions are fantastic and the art itself beautiful. Your colouring skills perfectly complements the piece, and in all it is a simply fantastic piece.

This piece truely is remarkable. I assume that this scene is taking place just before the Chaos Emerald warp, in contrast to your Wraith pic who is in mid-warp? Nifty.

Actually I will confess that I used tablet. Danm! I hardly even know what a mouse is anymore . I use my tablet as a cursor as well on my laptop so when I go on an actual computer, it becomes so weird to use an actualy mouse .

But ppl like MEtalguppy prefer mice. Her Oekaki is mindblowing. I wish I knew her secret

Erm... to answer your question from TA regarding motion... well this is what I sort of try to think along the lines of;

Basically I exaggerate perspective (ie. mega big fists or sumthink). And I think arms and hands definately play a big part. Probably even more so than feet sometimes. I find it's wise to consider the position of each arm. I experiment... blocking layers with different arm poses to see which one does the pic most justice.

As for bg, I just try and spiral it in the same direction as the character.
