As I said, self-expression. Besides, I was determined to be the first EVER to do fan art of this mysterious character. Bet I'm not... but oh well. One of the first.

I don't think I'm good at SA style at all! Thnx so much for your approval though. Gives me more self-confidence on the style, as you will. Wasn't exactly a quick picture BUT thankfully there wasn't a lot of stopping and starting when colouring it and stuff so I enjoyed the flow of this and thus I was ok putting in effort. Effort always seems to pay off at the end of the day.

Coincidences happen, I suppose...

Anyway, it looks absolutely amazing I have to say. The colours, the backgrounds and the expressions are what leap out at me the most I think, the colours are just amazing and the effects, of course, are also included in that. -glowyfreak-. I know you can't really see much of a background but for some reason I really like it, it just sort of...fits. And the expressions- well, they speak for themselves. Which is a good thing, because that's what they should do.

Thanks for the compliments and such on the colours effects and I'm glad it appears as if it's all leaping out. I did want to try and do something... motion like, kinda emotional but explosive as opposed to the usual still, isolation and angst which I have probably done a little too much of XD.
And I am truely glad you think the bg fits. I did worry that it had been undertoned... but I think that somewhere in my subconcious I wanted the central focus to be on the conflict of these adversaries.

You know whats ironic? In my old roleplays and fics, I used to put a lot of empathesis on how he hated lookalikes, clones, being a clone of Shadow e.t.c it would eat him up and destroy his sense of self-worth. OoooOoo... deep angst angst aaaaangst.

Yeah, I totally tried to get some conflict and chaos in here so the lighting and poses and such are prolly gonna set things askew when looking at this pic. It started off orderly... but I decided that adding chaos in the form of art techniques and lalala would add to the... chaoticness of all of this*shot for overuse of Chaos*

that honestly looks to close to be a coincedence. The markings are in the same spots, fur on the chest, color of both the hedgehog and its mark are all the same
