Bug type
A single chrycellis is vulnerable so they usually huddles in pairs. Doing so allows them to generate an electrical field that repels predators.
Scarabsorb
The Energized Pokemon
Bug/ Electric Type
It uses its formidable horn as a lightning rod to absorb electricity. By beating its wings, it releases the stored electrical energy in shockwaves.
This is my concept for grub bins evolutionary line. I based it off of scarab beetles. For chrycellis, I also incorporated traits of batteries.

Alas... we did not receive a Scarab Beetle evolution for Grubbin.. I also much prefer Chrycellis to Charjabug.

Just want to say, your predictions on Grubbin's line are much more appealing. Especially the 2nd stage. Chargabug is just so lazy of a design. However Grubbin's final evo is still cool

Funny thing is that I had a concept for a fakemon exactly like Scarabsorb before Grubbin was announced. It's name was Scarabyte, with the ability with an ability that raises evasiveness when hit by a ground type move.
