It has been only a few days since they last met,he finally made it home...-God,I stink! I could really use a shower...
Leon was making his way to the bathroom but he heard a knock.Leon said to himself "Ugh! can't a guy take a break?!"
He opened the door to find his ex-girlfriend...
-Claire?! Wha...what are you doing here?
He was surprised and chocked to see her,he didn't understand the reason why she's here...
-Can I come in?
Her voice was so weak and vulnerable...He couldn't hide how much he cared about her:
-Yeah,sure...What's wrong?
his tone was so concerned...but she just stood there in silence...
He wanted to hold her,like he usually did,but they weren't together anymore,so he did not know what to do...
-Leon, I...I'm so sorry...
She just collapsed in front of him...Without hesitation and without even thinking he came close and held her close to his chest...
She looked up at him,she saw the sadness and the pain that she has caused.Then she just wrapped her hand around his neck,Leon pulled away,although he wanted this more than anything,but she wouldn't let him and then she said:
-Leon,I love you...
-What?! what are you talking about? I thought...
-No,he doesn't know me...he's still the kid I met years ago...
-But you kissed him...
-And now I'm kissing you...
Claire just pulled him closer,he couldn't stop her,because he wanted this...Their lips met,he just wrapped his hand around her waist,They never broke apart,not even to take air...
Leon was still confused...he asked her about what changed her mind...She just stayed there and talked...
They lost a track of time...then Claire just surrendered and dozed off on his chest,he looked at her and smiled and then he said to himself:"I guess that'll teach me to always fight for what matters"

You mean you she didn't know him, and yet she broke up with Leon based on... nothing... that little annoying shit may be a kid, but it's Claire's behavior that came across as childish and her excuse is kind of half ass. It would have been better if Claire was glad he was alive, but that she didn't have feelings for him, told him that's not how love works and that there wasn't anything that would keep them together. I know this is a short little story that's not trying to be deep... but come on
