“Mr Shi-zu-o~, good morning.” the blond haired male opened one eye at those words. There was the smell of coffee and fresh toast in the air. The woman who woke him sat on the edge of the Shizuo’s bed. “H-hmm…” he groaned a bit and lay on his side. “A few more minutes... it is Saturday… Don’t have work… on Saturday.” Standing up, placing her hands on her hips, the woman clacked her tongue and crawled over him; placing her finger under his chin to push it up she whispered: “Breakfast… Now.” The strong man grabbed the female’s wrist gently and squeezed it softly. “Aaaah? Who’re you to order me?” his voice sounded like an upcoming storm but in contradiction, there was a lot of respect in every word that left his lips.

“I’m your girlfriend,” she smiled. “Heiwajima Shizuo’s girlfriend; _____ is the name.”

You answered, bowing your head in a silly way which made your lover laugh. Shizuo released your wrist and brought it up to his lips. Planting a soft kiss on the palm of your hand, he looked up with a childlike smile, “That’s right, dare you forget it.” was his response.
“Oh? That sounds like a challenge.” “I mean it; don’t forget it!!” the man groaned a bit as he sat up and cracked his neck. “S-stop that! You know I hate that sound!” you startled a bit as soon as the cracking sound filled the small bedroom. “Ah, so cute…” he grinned. “I-I mean it!” you clenched your fist and walked back into the kitchen waiting for the strongest man of Ikebukuro to join you for breakfast.

It’s been almost a month since you and brute charming moved in together. You brought your empty plate and cup to the sink and washed it off, “Sooo… a date, where to?” you looked over your shoulder at the blond. “I was thinking about the Aquarium, to celebrate our 1 month together and to fill up the gap between high school and now.” He went over to you and pressed his body against your back kissing your ear. “I never thought that I’d ever see you again… So..., this means a lot to me.” Shizuo’s voice was filled with innocence. A couple stood in front of the aquarium, a girl wearing a ____ coloured dress. It looked beautiful on her during this time of the summer, the male next to her who was dressed in a bartender uniform made the whole picture seem odd. People stare at the two of you as you walked in. “Where to go first?” you asked your lover. “Let’s see… I want to see the penguins.” “Penguins?” you looked up at him “Yeah, they look cool.” you imagined the tall blond standing between a bunch of penguins. “You’ll surely blend in.” he laughed “You think so? Maybe I will, penguins are fun creatures.” He hooked your arm in his. “Okay, let’s go to the penguins.” He guided you over to where the happy smoking birds were.

“I think they like you.” you looked down at the jolly penguin faces who were gaping at Shizuo’s presence. Shizuo staring down at them wondering what was going on in their peanut brains, animals liked him but this was the first time that they actually tried to come as close as possible. “I think it’s your uniform, maybe they see you as their leader.” “You think so?” he kept on gazing at the penguins. “Mommy look!!! I think they see me as their leader.” Boys and girls, around the age of 10, were clapping and cheering. ‘Never thought he’d be so good with children.’ you thought, “come on, now we’re going to the tropical fishes.” you pulled Shizuo along through a sea of children. “Yes, yes, let’s go to there.” he waved a bit at the kids as they cheered him on.

“I’ve never thought that you’d be so great with children.” You sat on a bench looking at the tropical fishes swimming in a led lighted tank. “As long as they don’t annoy the crap out of me, then it’s fine. Children are nice.” Shizuo came over holding in his left hand ____ flavoured ice cream, and in his right hand a Gari-Gari-Kun pudding flavoured popsicle. “Here you go princess.” He handed you the ice cream and sat next to you. “Thank you, and since when do you call me princess?” “Since you are” he ate the popsicle looking at the fishes, the lights of the tank were reflected in his blue sunglasses. “Hm, charmer.” you leaned against the man’s shoulder as you licked up the ice cream. “Thanks for this wonderful day love.” you cuddled up against his arm. “Thank you for spending today with me.” he wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you even closer which caused you to fall half on his lap. The two of you laughed and went back looking at the fishes. “Ne, Shizuo, you seem a lot calmer lately. Is that because of me?” “Hm? Yea, I think so.” he took out a cigarette but you stopped him. “Can’t smoke in here, need to go outside if you want to smoke.” Whether you like or dislike smoking, there was no way Shizuo would stop. “Alright.” The two of you stood up and walked out of the aquarium. “Can I finally light one up now?” he asked “Go on ahead.” You looked around “I’m going over to the toilets first ok?” “I’ll wait.” He waved you off. “Don’t stay in there for hours ok? We need to catch the train back to Ikebukuro.” “Hai, hai~!” you stuck out your tongue and ran off to the ladies restroom. Shizuo took a deep breath from the cigarette and exhaled the smoke out through his mouth, he never felt so peaceful as now, but it was soon to end. “…Something stinks…” the blond man put out his cigarette and turned around looking at a certain person in the crowd.

“Hiyahooooo~~! Shizu chan~~!” the infamous information broker of Shinjuku drew closer as Shizuo gritted it’s teeth. “Izaya, from all of the places…. Why are you here? Stalking me eeeeeeeh??” Shizuo’s anger went from zero to one hundred percent in a split second. “Eh? What’s with this attitude Shizu chan? Is something the matter? You seem a bit more tense than usual.” “That’s because none of your business.” he put off his sunglasses and stuck it in his pocket. “I give you ten seconds to get outta here.” “Or what Shizu chan? You’re going to crush me with your monstrous strength?” “How’d you guess?” blood veins popped out on Shizuo’s forehead.

“IIIIIIIIIIIZAAAAAAAAAAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!”

Running out of the restroom you saw stuff flying around. “Hahaha! So wild! You’re a beast Shizu chan!” “IZAYA GET THE HECK BACK HERE YOU FILTHY FL-!” the blond man looked at you. “… ___..., we’re going home.” He rushed over to you and picked you up and walked off. “Eh, that was boring… not even a good fight.” Izaya talked to himself, then a twisted grin appeared on his lips. “This is all good, now that she’s around, the beast is tamed.” he skipped away “The beast’s tamed, the beast’s tamed… a shame, but still. Now nothing can go wrong anymore~!” he sang merrily to himself as people stared and try to figure out what the fuck just happened.

“Shizuo… What was that all about?” you sat in the bus next to your lover. “That flea just showed up.., he.. I was scared he’d ruin this date.” “But this date is over… Shizuo, he didn’t ruin our date.” you took the male’s hand in yours and squeezed it slightly. “Please try to ignore him okay?” “I’ll.., try.” Shizuo sighed and looked out of the window. “But everything is always his fault, my whole life. No one except you actually tried to befriend me cause of my temper, not even my temper. It was because of my reputation that time…” the story he told was filled with loneliness. “Love, please try to forget about all of that. We’re together now.” You tried to cheer him up. He looked at you, behind his sunglasses were eyes of a scared and injured animal. It broke your heart seeing him like this, you pulled him closer to yourself and hugged him the entire way home.
