This is a sketch from last month that I polished a bit. I kind of regret taking the picture in macro mode, but oh well...

This was a piece of vent art, but I don't remember what I was even upset about. I do know that I was listening to Bootleg Boy and it made me feel like melting into my chair. XD

I also added the small cut on Colonel's face (that he got from Zero) that never got to finish healing before he was killed. In a way, it sort of symbolizes the end of heir friendship.

Anyways, I feel like Zero isn't alone in his suffering over the Repliforce war. In my story, Colonel had some tough experiences too. The one I keep coming back to was when Sky Lagoon had crashed, and poor Colonel thought that Iris was still on it as he watched both cities erupt into flames. It made him feel as if heart was being ripped apart.

Even though Iris was alright in the end, that experience was still pretty traumatizing for him... It's one that he'll never be able to forget. This might be where his overprotective behavior comes from.
