I recently decided to try and make something actually finished because I looked at some of my previous sketches and felt like I could really do better. And then I did. I really wish I could have put the rest of Signas in the scene, but I was having complications with his elbow and I realized that one of his giant shoulders might cover up the Alia I worked so hard on, so I decided to leave him out. Speaking of Alia, I remember that she wasn't turning out quite right at first, but I'm so glad I was able to turn things around.

Without further ado, let me introduce you to my new OTP.
I can't really remember where I even got this idea from, but I do know that it was an adopted headcanon I've carried with my Signas muse for almost as long as I've RPed as him (that he has a crush on Alia, that is).
I've decided to start officially shipping it more recently though, after I figured out a whole plot to get them together (starting when Signas risks his life to save Alia's). This is probably my most fleshed-out ship, too. I write Signas a certain way, and I feel like my portrayal is actually a really good fit for Alia. I also pictured that their relationship would be secret since Signas kind of has an image to maintain. Everyone loves a good ol' forbidden romance, right?

Anyways, I haven't really decided on the context of this scene. I was thinking that either she's concerned for Signas's future or about something she herself is going through. Either way, Commander Signas has fully analyzed the situation, and he knows it's going to turn out ok. I pictured that his way of comforting people is typically more "matter-of-fact," but he's speaking more tenderly to Alia since he feels so deeply affectionate towards her.
