"It's funny, y'know. How fate works. You head one way, but you end up back where you started. I tried my luck in fighting it, but it didn't exactly work out the way I hoped.
"I was a stupid apprentice. Still am, but maybe more or less stupid than before. I don't know what was going through my mind that day. I travelled on to Lightning Empire's territory and, being a hunter in training, I figured I would drag the first cat I saw back to the Lowlands. I was overflowing with pride at the time. I thought I was the greatest thing in the world. I thought I could take down any cat I saw - but other things happened. He happened. The stupid caracal. But bringing him back to the hunters wouldn't have gained me anything, so, change in plan. I asked him if I could join Lightning Empire. Used my 'feminine charm' y'know. But he actually brought me back to his camp. Must have been a pretty good actress, 'cause the Lightning cats agreed to let me stay until their leader returned. He was on some mission, I dunno what he was doin'. Seemed the only slightly smart cats there were Sarius and Dehlia, who didn't want me there at all.
"Lightning Empire was just so happy. Ugh. But they changed me with their dark magic. Think it was called love or somethin'. I engaged in a few things called 'fun', snuck out of camp a couple of times with my apprentice buddies, and it was all whoopdeedo from there. Until one night.
"There we were, getting all snuggled up in our nests, when, boom, we were attacked by a band of cactus-faced butts. Marcellus discovered his talents of being a basketball, Sarius got dragged away into the sunset, and Cheino slept threw it all. We were doomed. And the hunters rubbed it in our faces like nothing else. Lucky me, I got caught up with a tiger, who also happened to be the silver hunter. I got a few scars to add to the collection, and it's thanks to him that I'm now blind in my left eye.
"The hunters came, they killed, and they brought back a few captives - me included. Everything that I once loved crumbled away before me. I went to Lightning Empire because I had a lust for Empire-cat's blood. Now I was on the receiving end of that. Now I'm locked up in a cell that I planned for another feline. I could never have thought that I would change this much in the few moons I spent with these cats. They made my life a full one. I'm not done yet, though. I still have a few things I need to say to my friends back at home - but, now that I look back, I guess I was just a cub wanting a family."

A quick doodle I whipped up to show Accalia's scars so far from the BH/LE battle Yep, she's blind in her left eye now. I HAVE NO REGRETS.
But a tiger did it mhm

But basically it probably is gonna affect Carly's confidence and she'll get insecure, thinking that she's all ugly now
