Another quick pinup WG pic. Basic premise was that Led's increasing weight overwhelmed the compasity of her robotic prosthetic limbs.She's from Septerra Core (one of the few console style RPGs on PC that I know about). Since I get the feeling that most of you haven't played the game, I won't expect anyone to recognize her, lol
I used the same shading technique here I used on the Jean pic. I may continue using it, simply because it requires considerably less work for a result that's just about as good as hand picking the shaded colors.

Oh no, Led ate too much! Oh I just love Led, she's adorable in Septerra Core. I really liked Septerra Core, but once I explored all 7 world shells and got the airship, the game really wasn't much fun anymore because you just kept on going to areas on the same shells which were previously inaccessible, and the battles and dungeons just became unbearable.

I Know the game Septerra Core...its one of my fave rpgs...and miya (for thows that dont know shes another char in sepptera) is HOT ^_^

hey...I got it cheap at target...was only like 10$ endedup uninstaling all the games I had on my old W98 (that I still have lol) and played it till the very end...but still the game was as adicting as rakion...oh btw the link to rakion is [link] use the international surver and my name on it is redblaze msg me

Your technique mentioned in your Jean pic seems to work well for you. But keep in mind, sometimes shading with outragous colors makes an image dynamic. Like for instance shading Led's skin with blue. So don't over use your technique. Sometimes it's better to choose a tone for shading than using the black.

Good point. Actually I think that this technique is probably best reserved for areas where shades change repetedly in a small area.
(for example, Led's pants, which shift colors frequently)
I'll probably proceed from here with a combination of this and my old style of shading.
