Description The Perils of Too Much Pampering:

“ENOUGH! I DEMAND SILENCE!”

It was as though her hardships had no end in sight. Only last week, the last of her servants had disappeared and she was left to fend for herself.

The nerve of that servant woman calling her "the most positively lazy, obese creature on the planet,” she deserved far worse than the 13 scratches she got on her face for that.

Silence had been her only companion as of late... good for sleep but not for answering the call of her rumbling belly. She'd had to learn how to order a delivery by herself.

Unthinkable! What were these people thinking, making someone such as her stoop to such lowly things? They did come eventually if she yelled "food" at the phone enough, but that in itself was troublesome.

That wasn’t even the worst part. Her favourite, and only, top had snapped in two! Such low quality material was clearly bound to snap some day and the very thought of it caressing her delicate skin sent a shiver up her spine. It couldn't possibly have been HER fault after all.

After several fruitless minutes of fidgeting with the straps, she finally resigned herself to another bout of phone abuse for a new one to be added to her order.

Where was that servant girl anyway? It was only 13 scratches after all... and she deserved it anyway, right? RIGHT?

Silence was the only one left to answer.

----------------------------
Finally got around to CGing woot's kitty girl I drew a while back. You can find the original sketch in my scraps:

You can also find the original on his site here:

Impressions:

The CG went better this time around than the last one I did (in my scraps) I'm getting a little better with this vector program but I still need to find a way to up the quality and shave off a little more production time (simultaneously).

There are a number of problems with this (not to mention the amount of laziness displayed with drop shadows). Feel free to point out any you see.

Cheers,

~xyxtlin

p.s. A big thanks to for proofreading the story on this before I posted.

Somehow I managed to find this pic in dA. It's an awesome pic with a great background story .
Reading the story definitely showed that the catgirl is a brat. She's just one of those people I would love to go up to, treat like she's treated her helpers, and take any frenzy of hurt that's coming my way from that. Though I doubt she's even that "low" to quote off her, to show the "errors of my ways" to put it nicely if it came from her. I'd love to show her that reality is a bitch.

Awesome drawing and story though . Really enjoyed it.

lol, thanks. Hopefully I can do better next time though. The linework here got a bit messed up from drawing at mixed zooms.

that is one problem with the app, the thickness of the lines you draw changes with your zoom setting.

The bra and panties need work, they look like they were done as an afterthought, and pasted on. A lot of the lines don't look as clean and crisp as they should either, but maybe that's just me. I prefer the original honestly.

xyxtlin In reply to vader7476 [2010-06-20 21:41:02 +0000 UTC]

Dually noted. What looks unclean about the lines if I may ask?

vader7476 In reply to xyxtlin [2010-06-20 22:11:03 +0000 UTC]

Prolly be easier if I had a picture, but do you see the lines on the bottom of her breasts? The one had a lumb in it (And there's other evidence of lumps where the lines aren't as smooth, even if they were interacting with her stomach or face, you wouldn't get anything jagged) and there's also evidence there, and many other places where your line thickness changes too quick, so it looks like parts of the line are thin/missing for no real reason. Her right elbow(Left of the picture) you can see what I mean quite distinctly.

It looks like you either didn't use vector lines, or didn't color at a high enough resolution to make up for the degrade in quality.

The picture also looks flat to me, but that's more of a person preference, it just doesn't seem to want to "pop" anywhere, and give depth or perspective.

Hope that all made sense.

xyxtlin In reply to vader7476 [2010-06-20 22:29:24 +0000 UTC]

Point taken.

I did indeed use vectors, however there is an issue with the program I'm working through where the thickness of the line changes with your zoom level (rather than just staying with the thickness setting you've set).

Also, in order to not run out of CPU/Memory I was making heavy use of the "simplify" function, which removes extra/unneeded vector points and supposedly shouldn't alter the shape too much. In practice though it often can alter the shape significantly and can react differently depending on when you do the simplification and at what zoom level.

I'm going to have to play around with both functions a little more before I can get a handle on it.

I should not that the resolution for this image actually was a little low to begin with too. I started with the image I have posted as the sketch rather than a higher resolution scan.

All of these (and my lack of experience with the tool) likely effected the outcome. Hopefully more experience with the tool will help next time.

Thanks for the feedback,

xyxtlin

No problem, but is your cpu that bad/old that working normally bogs it down? Usually a program(Like photoshop) limits itself to how much RAM it will use, so that doesn't happen. (Which is why the program might be a little slow when images are really big, but the rest of your computer works fine and dandy)

Hope to see more from ya, always a treat.

The PC never came close to crashing, but the application did a few times.

I had more layers in it than I've ever had in photoshop. I'm still getting used to the quirks of the app though.

I found that if I had it zoomed to full screen I could have all of the layers showing with no problem. With high levels of zooming i had to be careful, but if I hid most of the layers it wasn't a problem.

The application still isn't at version 1.0 yet so I expect a few quirks.

A major thanks has to go to for the story. I did write the first draft, but he "spiffed it up" for me in time to post it tonight. Probably would have taken me another day at least (considering my work schedule) do fix the story myself and post it.

So make sure to direct some of your thanks to him
