Apple: Most of the hate/dislike for Apple and its products is that they basically try to make toys out of technology and "dumb it down" for the masses. At least, that's been my experience. Yes, they are a bit more user-friendly sometimes, but I'm much happier with something that takes a bit of brainpower to use. If I fall off a bike, I'm going to get back on it and ride again, not get training wheels! Also, Apple charges too damn much for what are basically fashion accessories.

Alot of people hate Apple because everything you do with one of their products gets sent through the internet and back to hq. People don't like the thought of being watched for every little move they make, or thing they buy.
That, and some people just have some really bad luck with their products.
I love my iPod though, and I might be getting an iPhone soon, so I am NOT one of the people who dislike Apple. xD;
