I can change the image and I replace the dll file but it keeps reverting back to the original file. Any ideas?

mmm two possibilities :
-you modified the wrong file
-you replaced the wrong image in the dll file

looks like a mad utility, but not user friendly enough. you should get somebody to make something with a user interface etc, it would be awesome for people not experienced in computers to be able to use such a feature!

Hey brother...finally got it. In regards to Windows 7 Ultimate, Version 6.1, Build (7600), 64-bit the files are located in the wmploc.dll in the 257 folder and the background is the 5321.jpg.

Thanks for the help.

If I ever figure out how to put a link in these massages I'll show you.

I can't find the 265 either. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit retail version from MSDN. I have one that is 256 and one that is 257, and neither has files as high as 5321. I've scrolled through all of the files and can't find one that is 800x600. I'll keep looking and see if I can find a fix.

Okay, I've been looking for it. Let me see if I can get this (maybe I'll learn something new here) if not I'll put the dll on rapidshare in a day or two. Either way I'll get back to you.
