This much details in props are amazing! I like that a lot, and also how you are not afraid of bringing all those hues together! ...Your style has done great once again!

I like all the little details, but what bugs me is how the light from the book doesn't really seem to effect anything anywhere else in the picture. For instance, the shadow of the curved pipe that falls across the skull is going toward the book, not away from it. Also, the perspective seems slightly skewed, though that does have an interesting effect on the eye. It makes me think of old medieval drawings. Gotta love that bass though Yay for the biggest most unwieldy instrument in the classical string family! w00t!

The break away from the standard alchemy images is very enjoyable, mainly the cello, although the cellular phone is a nice addition as well.
Also the skull is exquisite. The simple designs on its surface make give it a Norse twist, or even a Middle-earth Dwarf style.
Overall an excellent picture.

this looks very very good! And perhaps it escapes a little from that dark look that almost all the images from laboratories and alchemy related have... this is very rich in colours.
Congrats!

This is so fascinating and beautiful. There's so much going on but it all looks great and all fits together. Excellent work putting it together and great use of colors.

I have to say I like this. The image itself is fine, but what makes it for me is the interjection of little things that aren't normally found in this sort of image setting (the cell phone, the cello, and the nailed up horseshoe come to mind.)
Nice touches

THis picture is amazing!!!! I totally love it. I also love all the little things you have in it like the violin/viola, what I'd have to guess is a genie in a bottle near the skull and the ghost/skull thing in the empty bottle behind it. Totally

I love the upside down horseshoe. It is ironic and funny. I also like the cell phone in the picture it is quirky and unexpected.

Wooow, I love the detail! It's really cool and exactly how I picture an alchemist's lab. My favourite part is the bottle attached to the skull.

Love it. The skull, the violin/cello are Still-Life old school, the modern cellphone besides them, the reflection in the bottle, the details of the books, great. Well deserved DD.

Nice intriguing peice. Alchemy has always been a great wonder of the underground scientific world. I like how you threw the cell phone in there, just to clarify it's relevance to both the current time period, and the fact that that technology would have been considered along the same terms as alchemy only a hundred years back.

I love the idea of old-skool science combined with today's technology. The reflection of the alchemist on the burner is catching.
