Not really 'back'. I just wanted to get that picture of Deilos-Miekk off my front page.. e_e; I'm hiding out here [link] and here [link] for a while.
The Vishu's story is still only half-baked. But in short, it was created as a fire demon [so it's a low-ranking Lesser edda]. It's not a myrmidon, so it isn't overly loyal to the FireLord. It's somehow connected to slow demise of Deilos-Miekk's mental stability, and involved--from a distanace--with the Ravshi'in's death. [The Ravshi'in is a fire demon, too--but a myrmidon. Very close to the FireLord. It eventually 'befriends' Koji--unheard of. Myrmidons are loyal only to their masters [[which are usually their creators]]. Koji, Deilos-Miekk, the Vishu, and the Ravshi'in are all very closely connected.]
Oh. And the Vishu runs on its toes. It has two opposable thumbs [that I hadn't decided upon when I drew this], and its paws/hands are very dexterous, so it's an excellent climber. The golden bar hanging around its neck is a sort of dogtag/callsign. Again, not fully sure of its function yet--only that it is uncommon among eddas. The circular thing also hanging around its neck is a small wicker basket. It keeps hearts in there [but only one at a time]. Again, function is not fully known. The Vishu somehow manages to put its own heart in there, which allows it to desert the FireLord and join the EarthLord [if its own heart is in the basket, the FireLord can't control it...and if the FireLord can't control its heart, it can control the demon's loyalties, either].
The Vishu is a sort of assassin, I think. Along with its pack of fellow Hopii varash, it chases its quarry and runs it just to the brink of death, whereupon the other Hopii varash do the actual killing.
So...

[EDIT] -[Line 3, Char 26] - This is assuming the FireLord hires or asks people to do various quests or tasks, such as killing individuals etc. I dont know, The Idea made sense in my head. Its hard to put it into text really,

thanks for the reply- cool, I like the heart basket idea - maybe you could build on that, such as when he is a servant to the FireLord, He takes the hearts of those who have been selected to go on a quest of some kind, to make sure they return, or maybe he takes the hearts of the vanquished, to ensure their souls are forever in the arms of the FireLord for whichever purpose they are needed (Torture, Mana, food etc

[i.e., as in you used it in the Cailte pic, and I think in that one of Khoum, the Blacknight's Anthem thing or whatever. I must be complaining again] >_>;

Yeah. Don't worry though, I'm working on that. I have quite a few more dynamic poses--in my sketchbook. I'm a wiiiimp when it comes to oC. Can't seem to draw the same way I do on paper. *Shrug* Soon as I can find a scanner, I'll upload some more dynamic drawings. *inking one right now...* e_e;
