It occured to me that I couldnt keep drawing all these Spocks without giving a shoutout to one Mr. Nimoy.
So, hello, Original Spock! This one had a few challenges that I think I overcame. That nose, for one thing! I've come to realize that I hate drawing noses. Not as hard as hands to draw, but so easy to screw up! If the shading goes wrong the nose will look awful. Then the whole face will look wrong. Plus his hair. Shiniest hair I've ever seen on anyone. That became it's own quest as I had to go from black to white and back again and make it look natural. Overall it is rather good I think.

Fascinating indeed! You got all the details perfect including the highlights in his hair and the sketch marks are subtle enough so they are visible without being too strong

Thank you! I'll try to describe what I did as best I can. When I started shading in the hair, I left the highlights white. Then while I was blending the hair out I blended it into the white highlight area. This basically made it gray. So then I started to add hair and shading to the highlights while continuously blending it out and taking a kneaded eraser to add the shine to individual strands. So it was a process off shading, blending, and erasing until I got the look of natural shine I wanted. Actually I find that hard to do. It doesnt always come out well but I am pleased with this one.

I gotta tell ya, that was a challenge. To go from black to White and back again and make it look natural. It was kinda trial and error. I shaded in his hair and left the shiny areas white. Then I would blend it in, shade in a little, blend it, take out highlights, blend it, etc. Until I came up with a look I was happy with.
