Ahh, the beginnings of that truly epic pairing of Buzz/Jessie
I drew this Buzz half past some time ago [link] and once it was done I was like, damn! I should have put his wings in! Think of how cool that would have looked! I decided that if I ever drew Buzz again I would have to have his wings in there. After seeing Toy Story 3 I've been on a Buzz kick and have been wanting to draw him again. And this shot came to mind.
I didnt think I'd be able to get done with this today, but I did. Deciding to draw Buzz is always a daunting task, because hes got all those little details that makes drawing him tedious. Nothing particularly wrong with him that I can say I specifically dont like, which is rare. The title comes from the Toy Story 2 bloopers

Oh yeah. Buzz/Jessie are a great pair. They got together at the end of TS2 and they were everywhere in TS3. I loved it

Very true, she was a figurine but Woody still seemed to miss her. Not sure why I didn't remember about Jessie and Buzz at the end of TS2... I've seen the movie a bazillion times. The Toy Story series is one of my all-time favorite animated films

Oh yeah the Wood-man does miss Bo. But it wouldnt make sense for her to still be there really. (The real reason is the writers couldnt figure out how to put her in the story, so they let her go)

I did not think of that! Yes, it would have been hard to have Bo as part of the story. My daughter always tells me I have a hard time thinking "outside the box" and this just shows she is right. I do appreciate the explanation

I also read that it was the reason why Bo has such a small part in TS2. They couldnt figure out how to fit her in there either!
