Ka-chow! My first Pixar drawing in a mighty long time! Seeing Cars 3 kinda re-awakened an old fandom for me, so this may be the first of several Cars doodles. I really liked Lightning McQueen's heat shrinked 'suit' that he had for much of the movie, I think because it was so dang shiny, so I wanted to draw it.ΒIt's taken from a shot of him & Cruz Ramirez on the Thomasville track, hence the title.Β

Oh, your art is just SO amazing. I remember how I discovered because of those fabulous drawings you did of Doc Hudson. I am so very, very glad the third movie has reawakened your interest - it's set mind alight too!!

You're so right - it is definitely like 2006 all over again; the movie brought me back 11 years and reminded me of how much of an impact the first movie made on me.Β And that's some exciting news right there - I certainly hope to see more Cars art from you.
