Old drawing of the medic (from Team Fortress 2, of course) shaving with a straight razor. I decided to finally finish it tonight for no particular reason.Related content

Thank you ā if I could share it, I would! Your humans are improving, though.

Oh, my HARPG humans are close to ridiculous - I'm starting to draw pretty many humans digitally too (not posting them though), but I used to be good at drawing them traditionally.

Thanks. Yeah, the hands are definitely my favourite part in terms of how they came out.

I hope so, my drawing hand hurts so much right now I might need an artificial one like the Engineer! XD

YamiKatt In reply to katNiccals [2011-12-13 02:36:33 +0000 UTC]
Don't overdo it, seriously. Slow and steady progress is the key. I'm typing with my left hand and trying to teach myself to write left-handed, because I overuse my right hand for drawing ā don't be like me! XD

katNiccals In reply to YamiKatt [2011-12-13 03:52:31 +0000 UTC]
My left hand is artistically useless, but I have the bag habit of spending up to 3 hours on photoshop, and if you seen my stuff, you've seen how basic and what I have to do to make it ^^''' still, I support the idea of a bionic hand XD

Gods, I've spent over 6 hours on PS at a time before. Not a good idea, let me tell you. I'm right there with you for the bionic hand.

katNiccals In reply to YamiKatt [2011-12-14 21:35:24 +0000 UTC]
I'll keep an eye on the bionic news and let you know if they make one XD it would be cooler if we could connect our brain to the computer and mentally do the pictures!
Medic: I can try zhat for you

Awesome! I am not skilled with drawing people from behind AT ALL. Neither with the fact of mirroring. This is veeery nice! :3

Thank you ā it's all about practice, and drawing from references.

Elfeytha In reply to YamiKatt [2011-12-13 17:09:17 +0000 UTC]
I'm sure. But it looks stupid if I stare at someone who sits in front of me at the class - I have done that a few times and always end up coughing my awkwardness away. Should figure out another references, eh? xP

YamiKatt In reply to Elfeytha [2011-12-13 20:03:29 +0000 UTC]
There's always photos, and if there's a way to, I recommend figure drawing classes ā they do a lot. If you have friends that you would be comfortable asking to draw, you can do that too. In my experience, most people like being drawn (but they start getting restless more quickly than you expect, so work fast). There's a lot of ways to go about it. :]

Elfeytha In reply to YamiKatt [2011-12-13 20:42:47 +0000 UTC]
Yep. A lot of people ask me to draw them. Which makes me feel rather awkward as I am afraid of failing. But hey, thanks for the tips! :3
š: 0 ā©: 1
YamiKatt In reply to Elfeytha [2011-12-13 21:03:25 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, unfortunately people often want you to draw their face, when their body is artistically the more important part as far as gestural practice goes. Silly people. XD
You're welcome, of course, and keep it up. :]

Will do! And yep, that's true - too true... I also want to learn more poses and such. Well, I have the whole day at school to do so!

This is beautiful. The way you drew the reflection and the medic himself is amazing. The hand has to be my favorite part.
