Thank you so much! I don't use Paint Tool Sai and I use photoshop, but the settings were pretty similar and now I can try to shade properly! ^^

This makes me wish my tablet wasnt missing Seeing all the wonderful art from people with more expirience makes me motivated knowing that they were once where i am and that means i can get to where they are. I practice with paper for now (even though i feel extremely bad for the trees....) but i cant wait until i find my tablet and put your tutorials into perspective

You can probably buy a replacement pen!
I know that wacom sells them. If you're using a Huion or Monoprice tablet, then I think that most UC-Logic compatible pens will work with them. :}

I watched a tutorial of yours about 'clipping layers', but what do you do when you colour outside of the lines?
You colour outside of the lines, and then you click something and it magically disappears!
How do you do that ;o;

On my version of SAI, I think you can only use the bucket tool on the same layer as the lineart...if I use the bucket tool on a separate layer, it fills the entire page rather than inside the circle...

In every version of SAI, even the oldest ones, you can go to layers and select one layer as "select as source" or something alike"
Then use bucket on another layer.

eh what do you mean with this is only neccessary if you got a lot of lineart layers?

also i colored the lineart instead of what you said(i maked my back lineart yellow)
