A very BASIC tutorial on how to pic colours when you draw!!
Before teaching you my ways how I shade skin, clothes or eyes, I think it´s important to develop your own sense of colours first.
Even if you know how I do it, there is no way you can achieve alike results, or results you are pleased with yourself, unless you know what colours you like!
It´s very simple and I hope it´s useful for beginner artists that struggle!
Feel free to use this palette to help you on the way.

Because there's no "true" greys or blacks in shadows. All of them are colours, just desaturated ones. If you take a walk outside on concrete you'll notice either blue tinted shadows on white-ish surfaces like pavement, or violet ones. That's because the sun (gold light) is casting a shadow (lack of light) which appears as the opposite colour (violet). The same goes for light, it's not white, it is also colour. The colour of the light or shadows are determined by the light sources and environments which may also reflect or bounce colours everywhere.

How does one do the color black o3o I have a lot of traditional art I use black with and (being extremely new to digital and being horrible at it xD but I wanna learn even if it does put me in a bad mood :'3) I have no idea how to properly color with black
I also just use a free program (paint.net) so go easy on me xD
