using stuff left over from anatomy class, i converted human hand sketches and tried to get a better feel for hands in the robot world. faces next.Related content

sometimes what might help for practice is to find a bunch of hand references for life drawing, and then sketch around that to get more of a machine looking hand. its good for getting the different positions to look right.

another good way to practice is to use normal shots of hands in various positions, and then draw the mechanical linework over it. it helps with figuring out perspective and flexing/stretching, etc.

Do you mind if I use this to study TF hands? I can't do 'em that well....or eyes or feet, but that's beyond the point. ^^

go right ahead. i need to refer back to it every now and then
if it helps, take pics of your own hand in various positions and sketch over it until you get a feel for drawing hands.
i think hands and faces are the hardest parts to draw...takes practice.
