I was asked a couple of times for help making sigs and decided to show people how easy it was to do neat things on the GIMP. So I made my first tutorial. I don't know if it even makes any sense at all, but hopefully someone will find it helpful.Background stock from:

Ah, that's a nice technique for highlighting the text. I've normally just used a low-opacity brush to draw it.
