Description
Here is the town i designed for RubyThe idea is that it was developed after people found petrol in there, but after a while the petrol oil start to run out and people start to move away from the town. The idea was kinda from my parents because they did a wasted metal sculpture event in China. But anyway, after the petrol starting to run out, they left a lot of wasted metals and people start to make use of them by building them into their architectures. Hope you like it! took me around 3 weeks from start to finish.
and yes i was really inspired by tekkon kincreet and wanna do something as colorful and as dense to something like that. love that movie so much!

That is AWESOME!
I have no idea of the other things it's based on, never heard of them. But I always love well-realized worlds that look nothing like what I'm used to, but still look like real, livable worlds.
And this exemplifies that perfectly!
I love all the detail. The air conditioners, the screens, the wall with the ventilation holes in the top, the slightly slumpy sandy architecture on top of the mechanical bits, the wires, and satellite dishes, and staple ladders, and whatever those pillar things are in the background, that give it a wonderfully strange atmosphere.
I like how everything's slightly cockeyed.
It's like if Doctor Seuss and Terry Pratchett got together to invent a post-industrial town.
It's just AWESOME!
