Description Another shot of the old International panel truck that was parked at Station Square last week. I thought it was an interesting contrast between the beautiful overall rustiness and the bright mag wheels. It's a little hard to tell in this shot, but there is a nice script graphic painted and fading away that looks like it says "Rasley's".

Although its not feasible, it can be fixed, although it requires a serious anti rust treatment. There is nothing that can stand against passion.

I always like American trucks and pickups! the manly way to go.

I have seen that some people even paint that rusty look to their vehicles, it looks artistic, and the thing underneath is really new, so it tricks the observer's expectations.

I kind of like it the way it is. I'm sure they will restore it. It was pretty solid looking overall.

American trucks do have a look about them.

That would be cool to do. They do that sort of stuff on old trucks at Disney. Nothing is ever what it seems down there.

It is a study in contrast, that's for sure.

A great shot of a great truck! I love 'em when they still have a "patina" to them! (just like this...[link] wants me to paint it...I say over my dead body!)

You compared the wheels to the rust...I think a neater contrast is the good ole chrome that looks like it has gone the past few decades through a time capsule!

Too bad new chrome isn't as tough as the old stuff.

Thanks! Me too. Living here in the Rust Belt, I have little choice, we have rust in our veins.

It is interesting that the chrome held up so well over time, really says something for the quality.

I myself would be tempted to leave it as is and just work on the mechanics and interior.

That's true. Keep the nostalgia of the whole thing.

Bet she'd look nice and purty after a long bit of spiffing up.

She looks pretty solid. This definitely would be a good project truck. It would make a good custom or original restoration.
The trailer looks as rough as mine.

It does look pretty solid. I'm thinking a custom would be the way to go since the grill is pretty messed up, but I guess somebody with some skills could fix it. Even a Rat Rod would be cool. Yeah, that trailer looks like it's done some hauling.
