Description Little Sheba was a B-26C Invader with the 13th Bomb Squadron, 3rd Bomb Group, 5th Air Force, Far East Air Force of the United States Air Force, at K-8 Kunsan Air Force Base, South Korea during the Korean War.
This illustration is part of a documentation project by Charles Hinton, John W. Harris and myself. We are attempting to document every B-26 Invader flown by the 13th Bomb Squadron during the Korean War. Charles Hinton was a Navigator and John Harris was a Pilot with 13th Bomb Squadron during the Korean War.

Cool art! I've had this book since I was a kid called "Turn the Tigers Loose" by Col. Walter Lasly about B26 night intruder action in Korea.

Thanks! I'll have to look for that book! Do you know what squadron he served with? I have some 13th Aero Squadron books from WWI and I have a good book about the 3rd Bomb Group that the 13th was a part of.

I'll have to check it out more thoroughly. I bought it as a "kid" because of the cool cover art but lost it over the years and just recently re-acquired it at Half Price Books.

There were several B-26 outfits operating in Korea. The 3rd Bomb Group's 8th and 13th Bomb Squadrons, were flying night missions out of K-8 Kunsan Air Base in the West and the 452nd Reserve Bomb Wing flying out of Pusan in the East.

I'll ask my friend Charlie if he has the book.
