And the late Angus Scrimm with his toys. The first movie would have been scarier if they did show a constant stream of blood coming out of the security guy's head. But there are no major arteries in the brain near the forehead. Now if it was drawing out gray matter, then that would have been more terrifying.

Ha! I never thought of that. Although it doesn't really matter to me in that sort of movie. Everything is so strange and over the top, realism isn't really an issue here. I just enjoy the show

I only watched the first one, as it was so dark and terrifying. Especially at the end when the boy closed the bedroom door and Scrimm was hanging from it just before the hands crashed through the mirror of the closet door and pull the boy in. The shooting blood kinda detracted from the overall horror.

The sequels are funnier and have more action, especially part 2 and 3. The first one is probably the best though, but I enjoyed them all. The last one was the weakest though.
