So I thought I'd create a series of images that follow the timeline of Yoko's life. Because I can. Heh.

NOTE TO THE ONES NOT IN THE FANDOM: Yoko is a character that I'm using in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles roleplay, so you will be finding aspects of that peppered into her backstory. Just thought I'd warn you!

And here's the first one. Her original backstory was slightly changed to fit in better with the 2K3 universe and accommodate Ryuu's existence.

Yoko's from an alternate faniverse where Hamato Yoshi and Tang Shen actually had a baby. She was born to them out of wedlock although Yoshi already made a promise to marry Tang Shen.

The night that Yukie Mashimi murdered Tang Shen in a jealous rage, he took Yoko with the intention of throwing her in the river. However, at the last minute he regained his senses and hesitated. He brought her back with him to the Foot Headquarters, still undecided whether he should kill Yoshi's child, or if he should raise Tang Shen's daughter as if he had fathered her.

Meanwhile, Yoshi and the Ancient One found Yoko's baby blanket by the river, tattered and torn. They believed that she has indeed been fed to the crocodiles.

Yoshi stormed the Foot Headquarters where he faced and killed Mashimi to avenge his family before Mashimi could explain to anybody in the Foot about the baby. They found Yoko in his quarters as she was crying. No one knew who this baby was, or if it was even Mashimi's. She had the name "Yoko" monogrammed on her clothes but no family name. Nevertheless, they gave her Mashimi's surname and took her into the clan. And so she begins her life as Yukie Yoko.
