Okay since I need to break out of my comfort zone (aka Warcraft) a bit I decided that I should try out that 30 Day Monster Girl Challenge thing
Though it will take me waaaay more than 30 days to do it!
I also wanted force myself to work with a color palette I’m not comfortable with, and I really hate the color green, so… Here you go! Though I don’t really know if I even like how she looks
Can you guess what bird she’s based on?

Come on, the whole point of a 30 Day Challenge is to make one drawing a day!
I'd suggest making the drawing less detailed if you want to meet the quota.

I don't have that luxury unfortunately, unless I ignore my commissions.
And I'm already skipping so much detail. That's why it's a speedpaint, so I can just blow through it without spending too much time on each piece.

Haha yeah, I based her colors on the Turaco. The blurry tail is more of a happy accident than fully intentioned. I was in a hurry to get it done, haha!

Glad to see so many good artists jumping on the Monster Girl Challenge! I'll be excited to see what you come up with after this. I don't blame you for anticipating taking more than a day a piece on them though. I think I'm mostly doing my own as black and white line drawings and I doubt even I'll be able to keep up with that pace. Oh well, it's all about having fun and expanding horizons, right? Cheers!
