It actually took some effort to make myself not focus so much. I'm always so obsessed with clean and precise lines and coloring within the lines and I had to keep telling myself "No Yapi, stay loose, stay loose!"
So my attempt to not focus actually required some focus. Hah.

It's beautiful. The way the warm colors twist and turn outside the lines gives the painting a peaceful atmosphere. That soft feeling makes the character, and the feelings it portrays, moreΒ relatable.
