Description Sometimes Meiles just likes to sit, relax, and let Yari help him detangle his hair while he listens to her talk. It is easier for her to do with her smaller fingers ^_^

But uh... Yari? Learn to suck in your tummy :T

Just thought I'd practice (sort of) lineless painting again! I actually have three major influences for this picture. The main one was this picture from Grave of the Fireflies. I didn't want a gold palette though, so I picked up the overall colors from this lovely picture from Getty Images.

And also an overall inspiration from *io9 's beautfiul painting style

Awww, so cute! I love this, its very beautiful. And i think yari looks just fine without a sucked-in tummy! I must say, I have a pudgy tummy too, and i suck mine in all the time lol. Even in my sleep. I know, im creepy. but still, great painting.

oh my gawd... the lighting... its fantastic.... omg would mind if i made this my background? It is absolutly stunning! Yari looks cute pudgey! besides im no good at holding in my tummy either heh ^-^; Either way this is an amazing picture. i love how soft it is!

Seriously its very calming. Its nice to see them both in this type of situation as well. I can kinda just smile and picture the background as if it were real. The no line painting seems to have made the picture all the softer and calmer. It works well together. With that said I REALLY love this piece of work here! Fantastic job Yapi!

Hehe they both have sides to them that people don't really expect. Like how everyone thinks Yari is a bumbling childish helpess idiot, and how Meiles is just some savage nasty grouch XD But they'll get to know them more as I go through the story arcs!

It's just her and Meiles anyway XD

Although it's also that as their relationship moves along, he actually (unintentionally) gets her to be more and more comfortable with her body, and when they're in hot places she'd usually be dressed with a bare midriff :3

That is so beautiful! I like the colors and the style makes it seem so calm and gentle. Not used to seeing Meiles like that, but it's nice once in a while.

And jmo, I don't think Yari could suck in her belly that much in that angle... not significantly anyway. Meh. :/

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I specifically chose that lighting so it would have that cool, calm, romantic effect ^^ And yes, Meiles has his gentle, sweet moments! Not so often, since he can be a bit of a grouch, but when you get him in a good mood you can make him smile at the nice things in the world

Haha well, my belly's so pudgy that it looks round eve when sucked in, haha!
