Description
It's been overcast the past few days, but the minute I take out my motorcycle, OUT COMES THE SUN!I rode a bit on the highway and around the town of Jinzhou. I think I was riding in the sun for about 4 hours.
Wow, imagine if I wore goggles today. I'd have the raccoon tan as well! I have to ask my mom to ship me a crate of papaya whitening soap to get my color back. And oh, must. Buy. Sunblock.

Nothing big or fancy, just a 125cc standard bike by a Chinese company you've probably never heard of.
Here's a shot of it: [link]

standards are great bikes, it's kinda a shame they don't really make that style anyomre in the states, or rather import any that are made elsewhere. I'm a cruiser guy, but 2'nd choice'd be a standard.

I'm actually hoping to own a cruiser someday, although I'm hoping I could handle the weight and the engine power when the time comes. Plus, I'm wondering if I can pick a cruiser up by myself after I hit the asphalt.
What kind of bike do you have?

I don't yet I'm working on it
but I'm aiming for a 250cc like the yamaha Virago for putting around and learning the tricks, a 250cc would be a nice step up from a 125, and wet weight they're only like 370lbs or so (pretty close for most 250cc cruisers) and it's all about leverage
I'd have one now but I'm moving approx 3500km away to a state that's got very strange emissions requirements, one of which is they won't register a used vehicle with less than 2500 total km's. (and a 250cc's really not made for long long highway driving, though it COULD) plus it'd be a huge pain to tow it. so I've got to put off for another year my dream of getting a bike

Heh, very same reason I didn't go for a bigger, more expensive bike. I just don't feel like it's worth investing on a hog in China. When I shift to another country (I'm hoping either Japan or Sweden), maybe I'll get me my cruiser

heh yeah I understand that. I can find a gently used 250cc cruiser from $1500us to 3000us, then the next step up is the 650 (usually) which is around $5-6000us. it's a pretty big leap.

Well, I was already at the highway when I realized how harsh the sun was today. Too late to drop by Watson's for sunblock =_=

don't worry, once the peeling ends; the new skin will retain its original tone.

*Nod* Hope you heal up okay. Try using aloe lotions to help, they always help on me.
