Haha I try! I only get to take like 5% of all the nice scenes I see, because I take pictures stealthily. In Japan, by law all cameras have a loud shutter sound so it embarrassing to snap a pic and have it go "KA-SHAAAK!" and draw attention >_<

Next they shall have alarms attatched to camera's that blair out loud when a photo is taken XD
i never knew that about the cameras 030 guess id need to break out my remote control to take pictures discretely when i visit Japan XD

Well unless you bought your camera in Japan, it won't be a problem. It's just that with Japanese-made cameras, there's no option to turn the shutter off.
It's mainly to protect women from upskirt photos.

Makes sense i suppose i plan on visiting Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Tokyo for my trip, wanna catch both the modern city and the nature side of Japan while im there, also heard about a fox sanctuary but im not too sre on where it is :/
Either way even if i bought a camera in japan teh shutter sound wouldnt bother me XD
