"No cryin', Pet. You know Meiles' spirit always be wit' ya..."So a few have brought up the question: "Don't blood elves have longer lifespans than trolls? Won't Meiles be dead by the time Yarifeth fully matures?"
The answer is simply... yes. And here's a quick little something to show that
Those who have known me long enough know that I love doomed relationships. None of my couples make it. Ever. Or even if they do, one will die too early. Gahahaha, you guys should thank your lucky stars that I am not God. Because I will give you all happiness ONLY TO TAKE IT AWAY. *cackle*
Although actually, with Meiles and Yari, I haven't really decided who will go first. Because I like the scenario of Yarifeth dying first as well.

i guess i find it more appealing because right now meiles can appreciate life and her better then she can, in a way, appreciate him. Him dying once she really reached that level and could have delved so much deeper is just so tragic because now she has the rest of her life to reflect back and that could be a very very long life
it is super tragic either way though

I would enjoy seeing that whole scenario where Yari dies first. It wouldn't have to be but more like a nightmare Meiles has. But I has no monies so no commission for me

If I can remember Night Elf lore, before they lost their immortality, they lived a lot longer than around 1000 years...Tyrande (spelling?) and (I think) Malfurion are atleast 10,000 years old-I think Tyrande is even older then 10k years old, seeing how she survived the War of the Ancients-which in WoW Lore, took place 10k years ago.
Tyrande, Illidan, and Malfurion are all over 10k years old...(though us adventurers beat the ever loving snot out of Illidan...
Oo-sorry about my rant (smacks self with frying pan) Indeed sad that Meiles is dying of old age (I think-I just found your stuff while looking through Troll and Draenei stuff) but one question...what happened to his tusks?

Malfurion is definitely more than 10,000 years old, because he spent 10,000 years just sleeping after the War of the Ancients 
Draenei are pretty old too. Velen has been around even before orcs came into being, as he explained to Durotan and Orgrim when they were young.
Haha I don't really know what happened to Meiles' tusks. But it seemed like a likely thing to happen. He's gone way beyond his maximum lifespan, thanks to priestly powers and witch doctor voodoo.

I just saw that link about the WoW life-span. Yeah, Velen has to be more than just 20k years old...in the Draenei page, it says that there are other Draenei who "might" be immortal...I believe that one of the Draenei (he was a mushroom fanatic-and I think is found in Blood Watch post) is around or less than 20k as well.
Must look up the devolution of Eredar again...I know the exiled Draenei went with Draenei as "Exiled ones" but are they still considered Eredar?
Again, Unconscious Night Elf waking up calling starting players "EREDAR" before going back to unconsciousness.
*facepalm again* Another rant, sorry, but going back to the troll life-span...seeing how Trolls have-I would say insane rejuvenation properties- wouldn't they live longer (Though Amani lost his arm and eye, his arm never grew back) so wouldn't that increase Meiles' life-span even more?

I don't know about being considered Eredar. One side might say that they are no longer Eredar because they broke off from the rest of the race (who did go on to become something else entirely, but as THE Eredar), so they are the minority. Another side might say that they are the only actual Eredar left.
I think Preistly powers + Voodoo knowledge + insane Rejuvenation = incredibly insane troll lifespan. But still not as long as an elf. I like the drama. Ho ho ho.

Wouldn't know about the Draenei being called "minority" since there is some prejudice against the Broken...while Sevindia (my low lv'd Pally Dran was leveling, I saw an emote of: Azure Worker Sneer's contemptiously (sp?) at Broken-in the starting area... I was like Oo
Since my main was a lv 80 Forsaken Warlock with a 25ish Troll hunter, I decided to roll a Dran.
Speaking of drama, I've gotten in my mind of warlock and hunter making out...Forsaken Fem and Troll male Oo

They have the same lifespans as humans, so around 70-80 years old =/ I'm thinking Meiles really stretched his lifespan out, with him being a (former) witch doctor and Yari being a priest. I think between them they could come up with ways to extend him out to 110 years. But still, nothing compared to a belf's average of 300-400!

I always thought because trolls are the oldest race in Azeroth, and all those other races came after them, they must have got the biggest lifespan >.<

The night elves did evolve from trolls, but I think their long lifespan came from the blessing they received, which the trolls, of course, don't have. Yeaaah I'm a bit saddened that they have short lifespans too

It's a thin covering of fur that primarily leads to their color I believe.

Its not a point I want to fight about, because I really dont approve that fact either, but those things just make clear to me, that I dont want to roll my trolls like that just wowwiki says it 
There are just too much mistakes in the conzept, for exapmle, why have male trolls their tusks in upper jaw, females not? And why does the trolls druid form have the tusks on downer jaw too? And I just dont get why a regenaration creature have a less life span then a night elf for exapmle, even less life span then an human? *shrugs*

Yeah, I see the point there. My RP background's for almost all my characters are almost completely off what Blizz suggests (one's an ice troll, and my main's a bloodscalp, my gobby's an environmentalist, and so on and so forth). The tusk issue is bizarre. On male/female it may be a dominance/showing off thing (like mammals with horns/tusks), but the forms may be an attempt to balance out male/female players. The life span is confusing and saddening though.
